Introducing Inversion’s New Board Members Meeta Mistry and Michael Pressler

We are thrilled that Inversion continues to grow as we now have added two more members to our Board of Directors!

Meeta Mistry is an Austin-born Indian American civil engineer who manages heavy civil water and wastewater construction projects across Central Texas, helping deliver clean water to local communities. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, East Coast swing dancing, and traveling. Deeply connected to Austin’s Indian community, she draws inspiration from her culture and spirituality, which guide her commitment to helping others and spreading joy.

Meeta believes that “every act of kindness creates a ripple of positive change”, and that Inversion’s mission to create and perform music that impacts others supports that.

Michael Pressler brings nearly three decades of leadership, hospitality, marketing, and creative experience to the Inversion Ensemble Board. He has served as General Manager of SpringHill Suites Austin Northwest/The Domain Area since 2008. His connection to Inversion grew through his partner, Kent, who sings with the ensemble. Michael has supported post-concert gatherings, created the Season 11 graphic-design campaign, and is continuing his graphic-design studies through the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

On joining the Inversion board, Michael says “What excites me most about joining Inversion’s Board is the opportunity to help the organization grow while preserving the creativity, connection, and sense of community that make it so special. Music has a unique ability to bring people together, and I’m honored to contribute my experience and energy to that mission.”

Welcome, Meeta and Michael! We’re so happy to have you!
