Dream a Little Dream

Our community choir for singers 50 and up Coda presents Dream A Little Dream on March 7, a concert on dreams and lullabies. The repertoire to be presented tackles a profundity of meanings from comfort, rest, and wishes for children to complex themes in adulthood like life, the search for meaning, and surrender. Personal stories from Coda members about the power of dreams and lullabies in their own lives are woven throughout the program. A portion of our ticket sales goes to our Inversion Cares partner Swan Songs. Join us for a light reception following the performance. This concert marks Inversion Ensemble’s exciting partnership with St. James’ Episcopal Church as its first Ensemble in Residence.

America, Our America

Coda opens Inversion’s 10th season, presenting America, Our America–a concert that includes a mix of classical, folk, and pop music from all over the world, along with newer compositions. With repertoire spanning centuries, America, Our America is Inversion’s nod to the past while keeping its foothold planted firmly in the new and present. At the very heart of it, America is built on the backs of immigrants. With our country so very much divided, and many of our rights being threatened, this concert is a reminder for all to take a breath, to remember our shared and lived histories, and to look towards a brighter, more colorful, kinder future for all.
