There is no audition to participate! It’s a fun, welcoming environment for anyone who loves to sing, willing to put in the time to learn the music, and agree to having an open mind, eager to learn from everyone around them.

We recognize that not everyone can read notes, but that shouldn’t be a barrier to music-making. Practice tracks will be made available to help you learn your music, in addition to informing you about some stylistic things and other performance practices.

Absolutely! If you’re not able to do the entire year, you can just register either in the summer/fall or in the winter/spring for our 2 major projects.

Simply put, because our singers are also coming from other community choirs, and they rehearse on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays. (Wednesdays are church choir rehearsals.) Fridays was the only option left.

It is not. We are highy-aware that y’all lead very busy and full lives. Come to rehearsals you’re able to come for! Our only request is that you tell us in advance if there’s a date you’ll be missing.

On this note, rehearsals will not be for note-learning (that will be on your own or c/o practice tracks) but for vocal things and for shaping the music. Please make sure you have your music learned when you attend rehearsals.
